Post #5: My best friend

I usually thought that having a lot of friends was amazing. But, in the end I realized that not all the people you think you know are good. So, I started to getting away from the people who hurt me. Especially those who used me to hang out and then walked away as if I was a simple object. After that, I decided that I would only have a few friends and nobody else. I would only choose people who really love me and accept me for who I am. 

Nevermind, let's talk about my best friend. 

I met him on Instagram in 2018. I knew him before because a friend of mine knew him too. And one day He decided to talk to me and tell me about his music band. He figured out that I was a singer, so He wanted to have me in his music band. And I accepted, because I thought It would be very fun. Since then, We started to spending time together and know each other. Now, We've been friends for 2 years. And I really love him. He's 20 years old, just like me and we have a lot in common. 

He's the most comprenssive person that I know. He's always supporting me about many things. And I have a lot of confidence with him. I know He will be there if I need help or a hug. He makes me happy when I'm sad and He always invite me to go out and to spend time with me. I'm very happy for having him in my life. I'm pretty sure that He feels the same way about me. 

I think that the best memory I have with him was when He and I went out together and practiced some music in a park. We laughed a lot that day and It was amazing.

Post #4: My favorite festivity

Honestly, I don't really like festivities. I only know Christmas, New Year and National Holidays. And I think the one I like the most are the National Holidays, but not because of their meaning. I like them because It's family encounter where all of us can eat, drink and have a lot of funny conversations. It allows us to celebrate many things and in my family we don't necessarily celebrate for the country.

The National Holidays in Chile start on September 18th and finish on September 19th. It's usually two days of celebration, which is awesome since everything is canceled and we don't have any classes during those days. 

Besides, the best thing of the National Holidays is the "terremoto" or earthquake in English. It's an alcoholic drink which is made with white wine called "pipeño", pineapple ice cream and pomegranate syrup called "granadina". I really love to drink that. It's delicious. It has a sweet taste because of the ice cream and the syrup. 

The origin of this festivity is because of on the September 18th, the creation of the first national board is commemorate, where the country was finally able to emancipate itself and be independent. On the other hand, on the September 19th the Day of the Glories of the Army is celebrated. But I don't really care about anything of that. And neither does my family. We only spent those two days drinking a lot of alcohol and eating a lot of salad and meat. It's very cool for all of us.

Post #3 My favorite piece of technology

When I was 11 years old, my family gave me my first and my favorite piece of technology: a computer. I remember that I was extremely happy, because I was hoping anxiously having a computer to play a lot of virtual games. At that time, It was very difficult for my parents to buy something like a computer or even cellphones. And in fact, the computer that I received was property of my cousins. 

Me and my brother divided the time using the computer for just an hour, because my mother was very strict about that. And honestly, I always hated playing on the computer for such a short time. But, in the end, I understood that my mother was only protecting us for the dangers of the internet and the social networks. Besides of the problems that brings spending a lot of time on the computer screen. 

I always loved having a facebook account because I spent most of the time chatting with my friends and that makes me very happy. Besides, I used to play a lot with them on the internet. 

After that, I finally could have my own computer, because I received a scholarship where they gave me a notebook for my high grades in the school. 

At the present, I don't have that notebook, because I bought another recently. And basically I use it for studying, doing online homework and having online classes because of the pandemic situation where we live now. I think It's the best educational tool, because It allows us to feel comfortable in our spaces, specially in our homes.

I think I would be very difficult to me if the computers didn't exist, because I grew up with it. I feel like I've been adapted to technology and the comfort that It gives me. I knew that in the previous times It was pretty complicated to handwrite everything, It tooks many hours to do it. Instead, the computer allows us to type and do the work so much easily and quickly. The computer also allows us to comunicate with much frequency. So, I think It's the best piece of technology in addition to cellphones.

Post #2: Why did I choose my career?

I remember that when I was a child I used to play with my brother most of the time. We had a lot of toys, and the cash register was my favorite at that time. So, I always wanted to become a cashier when I grew up. That was my dream job and It's funny because when I was 18 years old I finally got to be a cashier for a Kayser store and I enjoyed very much. But, in the end I knew that my dream job couldn't give me a good life, because the salaries in Chile are pretty low and It's not enough to survive. 

Later, when I finally decided what I wanted to do, learning English was the first option, and I found a career which included many languages such as Japanese and Portuguese and It was pretty cool. I learned so much about linguistics and translation and other things. But learning certain level of Japanese was the most beautiful experience because I really love anime and the Japanese culture. However, I couldn't keep studying that career, because the academic load was quite high. At that time, I had a lot of personal problems which forced me to quit my studies but I think It was the best decision I could make. 

In the end, I took a rest for a few months, until I decided to study again. And I chose my second option: Pre-school Teaching. I have always been interested in education, and the last years I figured out that education of children is very important for our society. And personally I would like to teach an protect all children in situation of vulnerability. 

For the moment, I'm feeling very well studying Pre-school Teaching, I think It's a fantastic career. And this is the kind of job that I would like to have when I finally can graduate.

Post #1: My Autobiography

 Hi guys ♡, this is my first website and I'm going to talk about myself. My name is Esperanza Pizarro Abarca and I'm 20 years old. I was born in Santiago of Chile. 

When I was a child, I studied in a school called "Escuela Sanitas", where I finished my elementary education. Then, when I was in the middle school I studied in a school called "Granja Sur", where my specialization was on Industrial Chemystry. 

At present, I'm student of the career Pre-school Teaching at Universidad de Chile. Last year I studied the career Translation English-Japanese & English-Portuguese at Universidad de Santiago de Chile but I had a lot of personal problems that forced me to quit and take a rest. And I think that was a very good decision.

My family is formed by my mom, my dad and my brother. I don't have any pets because I'm allergic to cats and dogs so It's kind of difficult to me to be near around them. Anyway, I would love to have a cat and take care of it. 

My hobbies are singing, playing the guitar, watching series and movies, taking a walk on a park or just going out with my friends. I really love taking pictures of any sunsets. But what I like the most is going out with my boyfriend and spend time with him. 

I hope you can know me better with all this information about myself.
